One has to trek for about 4 Km from the closest road point between Siruvani Dam and Madavarayapuram. This place is usually evacuated before 5 PM because of its remote accessibility.

Marudhamalai Temple

Patteeswarar Temple – Perur

Merely 7 Km away from Coimbatore Railway Station, Patteeswarar Temple is situated in Perur, on the Siruvani road. Interestingly, it is the most ancient temple in Coimbatore. The key highlight of the temple is the golden hall or 'Kanaka Saba', which houses a gold-plated statue of Nataraja, bestowing blessings on the two sages, Pattimuni and Gowmuni. Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary

Merely a 100 km drive from Coimbatore, Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Palakkad district of Kerala. It is one of the popular wildlife sanctuaries in India. Sprawling over an area of 285 sq. Km, this sanctuary home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Anappadi is the entry point to the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary. All bookings are made here only. There is a tree house in the reserve forest area (in Thunakadavu & Parambikulam), which has to be booked in advance. Trekking is allowed here with permission and watch towers are also located at Anappadi and Zungam. Timings: 7 AM to 6 PM
